Get ready for the ultimate drum corps experience – the 2024 DCI Capital Classic is coming to Sacramento on July 7th! This one-night-only event at Hughes Stadium at Sacramento City College is set to be a spectacular celebration of music, talent, and community.
Presented by the Sacramento Mandarins, the DCI Capital Classic is back for its 10th year, bringing together some of the finest drum corps from across the nation. The evening will be packed with action as corps like the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, and of course, our hometown heroes, the Sacramento Mandarins, take the field.
The fun begins at 4:00 pm when the gates open. Make sure to arrive early to snag a good spot and grab some delicious eats from the food trucks. The performances start at 5:30 pm with a powerful rendition of the National Anthem, and from there, it’s non-stop excitement.
With performances from corps like the Sacramento Freelancers Alumni Corps, Spirit of Sunnyvale, and Golden Empire, every moment is guaranteed to be thrilling. The Mandarins will cap off the evening with a special encore that’s sure to blow you away. And don’t miss the grand finale – the announcement of scores at 9:48 pm!
In celebration of their 60th anniversary, the Sacramento Mandarins have returned from the DCI World Championships with a record-breaking score and an all-time high placement of 6th place. They’re on fire, and you’ll get to see why they’re one of the best corps in the nation.

Presented by the Sacramento Mandarins, the DCI Capital Classic is back for its 10th year, bringing together some of the finest drum corps from across the nation. The evening will be packed with action as corps like the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, and of course, our hometown heroes, the Sacramento Mandarins, take the field.
The fun begins at 4:00 pm when the gates open. Make sure to arrive early to snag a good spot and grab some delicious eats from the food trucks. The performances start at 5:30 pm with a powerful rendition of the National Anthem, and from there, it’s non-stop excitement.
With performances from corps like the Sacramento Freelancers Alumni Corps, Spirit of Sunnyvale, and Golden Empire, every moment is guaranteed to be thrilling.
